The Hassler’s Panoramic Restaurant Offers Special Holiday Fare

Each year, the legendary Hotel Hassler, located at the top of Rome’s Spanish Steps, offers its famous Easter Sunday Brunch at its rooftop restaurant, Rome’s first panoramic restaurant, with breathtaking views of the city skyline, timeless monuments and historic sites.

This year the tradition continues, however the exquisite brunch will take place for the first time in the newly renovated rooftop restaurant, unveiled and renamed Imàgo.

Assortments of Traditional Italian Dishes

Assortments of traditional Easter Italian dishes, passionately created by Imàgo’s Chef Francesco Apreda, native of Naples, include savoury delicacies such as mixed cured meats with fava bean flat-bread, lobster salad with artichokes and cress with lime, smoked leg of lamb, and desserts such as the Pastiera Napoletana (ricotta cheese cake with wheat grains and candied fruit), chocolate mousse and almond biscuits, and Colomba (traditional leavened cake in the shape of an Easter dove).

The Hassler has also prepared a special à la carte Easter menu in the exclusive Salone Eva, a cozy and elegant meeting place at the entrance to the hotel.

Overlooking the Spanish Steps

Just a two-minute walk from the Hassler, the Palazzetto restaurant (owned by the Hassler) with its terrace overlooking the Spanish Steps, has also prepared a special à la carte Easter menu featuring treats such as asparagus salad, quail eggs and smoked duck ham lasagna, with rabbit ragôut, smoked ricotta cheese and pumpkin.
