Canadian National BBQ Championships, August 2-3

A Taste of British Columbia, August 3

Feast of Fields, Regional Food and Wine, August 30
This year's third annual Sea to Sky Feast of Fields fundraiser event, a wandering gourmet festival, will be relocating this year to Whistler from the nearby farm town of Pemberton to accommodate increased attendance due to growing popularity.

Similar to recent years, food and wine lovers from across the region will satisfy the taste buds by mingling with some of B.C.'s great chefs (including James Walt of Araxi and Vincent Stufano of The Fairmont Chateau Whistler), vintners (including Saturna Island Family Estate Winery and Ganton and Larsen Prospect Winery), brewers (including Howe Sound Brewery and Whistler Brewing Company), farmers (including Pemberton's North Arm Farm and Across the Creek Organics) and food artisans from all over B.C. Proceeds from the event go to FarmFolk/ CityFolk Society a non-profit organization that works with farm and city to cultivate a local, sustainable food system. www.ffcf.bc.ca

Whistler Farmers' Market, June 15 - October 13
The Whistler Farmers' Market hits the pedestrian streets of the Upper Village (near The Fairmont Chateau Whistler) every Sunday with artisans, crafts, organic and local produce from Pemberton Valley and beyond, jams, honey, baked goods, jewelry, live cooking demonstrations and much more.
